This addition was a 6000 Square foot footprint for an underground garage – approximately 23 feet deep.
This job included removal of existing flagstone driveway. 60 linear feet of underpinning of house 13 feet deeper then existing foundation due to new addition being 12′ lower then existing basement.
Shoring entire property with both lagging and caisson walls.
16″ thick concrete walls – formed out of plywood – all one sided forms
Reverse insulation and waterproofing in order to have exposed concrete finish upon completion.
6000 square foot suspended slab (over 2 feet thick)
sprayfoamed outside of slab and underside of slab on grade
hydronic heated floor throughout
floor to ceiling glass dividing areas
15′ ceilings inside
Basement includes :
car elevator on exterior driveway,
9 car parking,
full size basketball court,
full size weight room
dining room and kitchen
